I had such a good time hiking the Templeton Trail on Thursday that I decided to drag the fellas along with me this morning. We woke up at 6:30, got in some breakfast and coffee, and hit the trail just before 7:30. There are a couple of fires burning up near Flagstaff which added a really cool effect to the surrounding skyline...Copious amounts of pictures to follow:
The boys were total troopers and we got slushies afterwords which helped motivate them for the last 20% of the hike. I got a couple of husky blisters, which will hopefully heal up before our trip in a couple of days...I've got 4 or 5 big hikes planned for us and these blisters could certainly make it interesting. But, I love when we all go hiking together, and I'm hoping we can do more of it as it cools down a little bit. There's nothing like unplugging for a couple of hours and having a little adventure together :)
