Welcome back! It's certainly been a minute, but life's been crazy and I forgot completely about posting a blog from this trip that we took back in January for my birthday! With a fair amount of drama right up until the moment we left, it was a much-needed getaway.
Keeping with the "Covid wintertime" theme, we went to Mexico and stayed at an all-inclusive resort. The sunsets were incredible every night, so this post is mostly just pictures of the clouds, lol.
Mixing it up a little, we decided to tour the archeological site in Tulum and hit up a Cenote in the jungle on one of the windier days. It was ridiculously hot and sticky too, so pardon the sweaty selfies :)
We also got to tour a "modern" Mayan village and make tortillas If you've ever wanted to feel like a giant, this is a great place to visit, lol.
We also managed to find some ruins within walking distance of our resort and had the place all to ourselves!
