Back when the Bahamas opened back up for travel, I booked a couple of flights to the Exumas for Brian's birthday this year. I had a hefty credit from our flights to Italy being cancelled, so it didn't cost anything out of pocket and I still had a credit left over. Of course, within a couple of weeks of when we were supposed to leave, our flights got moved around and we ended up with a 24 hour layover in Charlotte. This meant that we'd only have 3 days on the island and 4 days of travel. Thankfully, I was able to cancel those flights and book flights to Puerto Vallarta instead. A 2.5 hour flight is so nice...I must admit. It ended up being another lazy trip spent sunning by the pool, getting couples massages in the sand, and walking the beach everyday for sunset. We took a boat out into the bay and watched the Humpback whales and their babies and spotted a huge Ray and a ton of Dolphins that played with us. It was amazing.
Anyway, prepare for tons of sunset pics...sorry there's not much variety, but we had a lovely time and that's what it's all about :)
