We arrived in Pompeii late in the afternoon, found our Airbnb, and then headed out to explore the little town.
The next day was spent exploring the ancient ruins of Pompeii. We were pretty much the first ones there and had it all to ourselves for the first couple of hours.

Towards the end, we rounded a corner and found the poppy field of all poppy fields...I was in heaven!
