The last morning in the valley, I woke up at 4 am and, since it was light outside, went for a walk so as not to disturb Brian. One interesting thing that I noticed about our time in Switzerland, is that it gets light really early and stays light really late (like 10 pm late). This makes it really easy to cram the days full of outdoor activities, but results in total exhaustion by the end of the day.
I had spotted a trail down from Wengen and decided to take it and see where it went. It wove along the cliff side and was so beautiful and peaceful.
A couple of hours later, I returned to hotel to meet Brian for breakfast. We packed up and took that same trail all the way down to Lauderbrunnen and then I went paragliding.
Afterwards, we walked back into town...but not before stopping off at Trummelbach Falls. I don't know if it was just because it was our last day there, but I couldn't get enough of the valley's beauty that day...something about the lighting or the smell. I really could just go back and never leave.
